Those who have successfully completed the 3rd year of their studies and above.

This includes individuals pursuing or holding a master’s degree.

Specifically, those specializing in medicine or related fields.

Including scientists in the relevant fields of science (biologists, chemists, pharmacologists and biologists), clinicians and clinical researchers.

Entry requirements

Maximum number of students: 40

Applicants must demonstrate a good level of English.

The program is designed for medical students at an advanced level who have successfully completed the 3rd year of their studies and above. It’s also open to postgraduate students, including those pursuing a master’s degree or PhD in medicine, as well as scientists in the relevant fields of science (biologists, chemists, pharmacologists and biologists), clinicians and clinical researchers.

Applicants are required to submit their CV for evaluation. The selection process in case of high demand is based on the scoring and evaluation of the CV, with a particular focus on academic achievements in relevant fields.

Tuition costs

Attendance fee, 650 EUR, includes:
course materials (no books)
presentations in digital form
relevant bibliography by topics
protocols of the Hands-On Training
certificate of attendance (electronic version)
coffee breaks, energizers, lunches, and social program are also included

The tuition fees do NOT include:

  • Accommodation
  • Dinners
  • Personal Insurance
  • Travel cost to and from Ioannina

All efforts will be taken to provide a list of accommodation selections with favorable prices for the summer school participants.

As a participant in our summer school, please note that accommodation is NOT included in the tuition fees and must be arranged separately.

For the successful completion of the programme and the granting of Certificate of Training from the Centre for Training and Lifelong Learning Learning of the University of Ioannina requires:

  • The average score for each session must be greater than or equal to 50%.
